Holland & Holland's excellence has been recognised by royalty across the globe. Today, we are the proud holders of two Royal Warrants.

The perfect combination of art and functionality, a Holland & Holland brings together the best in refinement, innovation, and skill.

Holland & Holland stands, without equal, as the maker of bespoke guns and special commissions to the world's greatest collectors.

Whatever inspires you, our London factory will bring it to life in a gun that perfectly compliments your tastes and requirements.

Combining cutting-edge technology and the unrivalled expertise of our craftsmen, we work with you to create your Holland & Holland: unique, perfectly fitted, and completely functional.

We offer a written valuation service for all fine sporting guns and rifles. We also seek quality pre-owned guns for our London and Dallas show rooms.

To value a gun, we need to inspect it thoroughly and and regret that we will not be able to offer remote valuation. We can advise customers on how to send guns to us, or arrange an inspection in one of our show rooms.

A written valuation costs £90.

Service, Repairs & Renovation:

Holland & Holland has been making best guns in London, continuously, since 1893. An essential part of our work is keeping them in service, be they ours or by another maker.

Regular servicing will keep your gun or rifle in the best possible working order. Whether a basic strip and clean, or the total renovation of a vintage gun, our restoration department provides the ideal environment and our gunmakers the necessary experience to deliver the best results.

Where appropriate, we undertake the re-barrelling and re-stocking of guns of any age or make, subject to condition.

Strip & Clean Gun Servicing

Regular maintenance of your gun or rifle is essential to keep it in perfect order and we suggest every year in any wet shooting season and every two years in dry conditions.

The gun is tested and inspected for damage, wear or faults, then fully stripped. All internal parts are thoroughly cleaned, polished and dried, then re-assembled and lubricated. Pins are blued and the action lacquered, if required.

The foreman checks that the barrels are tight on the action, the ribs are sound and the barrels free from dents or bulges. Trigger pulls and ejector timing are checked and regulated, if necessary.

This simple, regular service protects your investment and ensures your gun will be at its best for generations to come.

Gun History research:

Hundreds of Holland & Holland guns made over a century ago are still in service all over the world. This testifies to the inherent quality of their design and manufacture.

Today’s owners are understandably interested in the history of their vintage Holland & Holland and we are pleased to help. We retain most of the historical gun-making records in our order books and will research the origins, if we can, and specification of your gun or rifle. Also, instances of it having been returned to us for sale or alteration in the intervening years.

There is a small £65 charge for researching each entry. This includes our providing a copy of the historical page entry and a letter of authentication, detailing the date of manufacture , original owner and gun specifications.

Please contact the Gunroom on +44(0)2074994411 or

Payment must be arranged prior to the history research being conducted.
