Today saw the second running of the popular Holland & Holland Spring Shoot, the weather was on our side, with a bright (dry) and sunny day in Northwood. Teams of four set out on a varied course of English Sporting targets, including a two-person flush, making full use of the different areas of our grounds, including the bunkers using our high tower to stands in our woods, surrounded by wild flowers in bloom.

It was a close run competition at the top of the leaderboard with a tied score having to be resolved by means of countback, the high gun for the day taking it with a score of 61. After shooting, everyone was treated to a BBQ and refreshments on the terrace in the sunshine.

Such is the growing popularity of the day, we will be adding a Summer Shoot to our events calendar, scheduled for the 14^th of August, where children will also be welcome for the day. Further details and booking information will be available soon.
