The Holland & Holland House Tweed

A Celebration of Craftsmanship, Heritage, and Quiet Distinction

We are proud to introduce the Holland & Holland House Tweed - a cloth woven with heritage, craftsmanship, and quiet distinction. Designed in-house and brought to life by one of Scotland’s finest tweed mills, this exclusive fabric is the culmination of months of thoughtful development. Inspired by our sporting legacy and an enduring appreciation for timeless British style, the House Tweed embodies the essence of Holland & Holland.

At the heart of this journey was a simple ambition: to create a tweed truly worthy of bearing the Holland & Holland name. Every thread, every tone, has been carefully considered to reflect our heritage and values. Drawing inspiration from the colour case hardening found on our shotgun actions and the deep, organic grain of Circassian Walnut, the palette blends blues, greys, and purples across a warm, decomposed brown base. A subtle overcheck in Holland & Holland green and gold completes the design – a quiet hallmark and a signature of our legacy.

This pursuit of excellence led us to Hawick, the historic home of tweed in the Scottish Borders. There, we partnered with a mill renowned for its uncompromising standards and traditional expertise. Working alongside skilled artisans who honour generations of weaving knowledge, we developed a cloth that is both refined and robust – crafted to perform in the field while looking entirely at home in the country house.

The House Tweed collection is crafted entirely in England by trusted makers who understand our values. Each garment is cut, sewn, and finished with care, designed not only to serve in the field but to endure for seasons to come. This is British craftsmanship at its finest – a celebration of our dedication to supporting artisanal skills across the country.

At its core is wool - one of nature’s most remarkable and sustainable fibres. Naturally renewable, biodegradable, and recyclable, wool offers breathability, durability, and water resistance across changing conditions. No synthetic fibre can rival its performance or its environmental integrity.

We are proud to call this our House Tweed - a true reflection of our heritage, our values, and our enduring pursuit of excellence.
